Rights before charity
Education, safety and clean water are not rewards. They are foundations for a life with agency.
Our story / Meja, Prayagraj
Dr. Ambedkar Shikshan Seva Sansthan is a registered non-profit rooted in Uttar Pradesh and known in its public work as Pakka Vikas.

Where the record begins
The organisation was registered on 4 February 1983. That date anchors our institutional identity, while the name Pakka Vikas expresses the standard we bring to the present: development should be sturdy, shared and close enough to change daily life.
Based in Shyamnagar, Shuklapur, Meja, our work sits at the intersection of education, children’s rights, drinking water, sanitation, cleanliness, women and children’s development, and the effort to end child labour.
What holds the work together
Education, safety and clean water are not rewards. They are foundations for a life with agency.
Cause areas overlap in real homes. Our view of development must be wide enough to see the whole person.
The work that lasts is repeated, understood and owned locally—not performed once for a photograph.
Across generations
The format changes. The question does not: did people leave with more knowledge, more confidence, or a safer path forward?
